New Look, New Location

We’re tidying up the blog and extending the entries to cover everything Sparkol Presentations as well as VideoScribe.

In the next day or two you will also see a completely new Sparkol & VideoScribe website as we make the link between the products clearer and provide a better online service for you.

Any links and references to the old blog should automatically be updated, but from now on if you change your rss feed and or bookmarks to be www.sparkol.com/support where they were www.videoscribe.tv/blog that’d be great.

The new website includes support for an affiliate programme, a dashboard to launch the products and provide news and updates.

Do you want to publish your VideoScribe creations to YouTube?

1. After your Scribe is complete and you are happy with what you have created – select the “Create Video” button and your Scribe will begin to render.

2. Once your Scribe has been rendered – you are now given the option to publish locally or online – select YouTube

3. Fill in the details and press “Publish” – it will now upload to YouTube.

4. After you have filled in the Youtube details – YouTube will then ask you to login – Login or “Create an Account” and your scribe will then be ready to upload to YouTube.

5. VideoScribe remembers which Scribes you have rendered, so there is no need to render you scribe again if you need to publish the same video locally or online.

Note : If after VideoScribe has uploaded, YouTube has detected shakiness and asks  if you “would like to remove shakiness” select “No”.

How to Share you Presentation in Sparkol

Comments Off

We have recently had a few emails from people asking if they can and how to share their Sparkol Presentation online. The answer is yes – so here is a few easy steps to know how to share your presentation online.

1. After creating your Sparkol Presentation if you press the “Save” button that runs a long the bottom of the screen -  a  “Save Presentation” screen should appear and this will give you a list of options to save.

2. Once you are in the “Save Presentation” screen, you will see that you can re-name your presentation and are able to save your presentation two different ways. If you save your project locally you will be creating a .sparkol extension that you can access on your desktop as well as transport it where ever you go. If you simply press Save you will be saving your progress online ready to share to others or just work on again.

3. If you have just saved your presentation but would like other people to view it online – where the box titled “Select a file” is, there will be a small blue un-highlighted icon to the left of the project name. If you select on the icon and it is highlighted this will mean that you have published your presentation online and you can copy a URL and send it to your selected audience to view. However if the icon is not highlighted this will mean your presentation has not been published online and no one will yet be able to see it.
