What kind of presentations can I create using sparkol?
sparkol is designed around speaker led presentations. You really can create a wide variety of content from short internal presentations to complex key note conference talks. Any content that needs to be communicated from a speaker to an audience can be delivered using sparkol.
For more information see our beliefs on the about us page and our tutorial videos.
The graphics are amazing - can I use these slides in PowerPoint?
Unfortunately not. Although sparkol does allow you to download the presentation as a complete single SWF file, PowerPoint is not designed to run Flash content and isn't very stable doing so.
We do offer a way to import your existing PowerPoint data, but can't offer an export due to the limitations within PowerPoint.
How does sparkol generate revenue?
sparkol generates revenue through both component sales and offering bespoke design services.
The product usage is free and there is a free base library of components included in sparkol. There is a growing store of components created by a range of authors that can be purchased using credits. These credits vary in value depending on the amount you purchase. Most components can be trialed for free, but will display a watermark when used in a presentation.
See our pricing information page.
Our design services center around using sparkol to create high quality, interactive presentations.

How do I become a component creator?
You can visit the sparkol component creator site, download the interface and start creating. Once you have a component to submit to sparkol, you can apply for component creator status and upload your component. Once you have had your first component accepted, the submission of further components is heavily automated.
